Delaware limited partnership
Concentrated U.S. large-cap equity and option strategy
Red Shield trades a concentrated portfolio of highly liquid U.S. large-cap technology and platform companies, seeking to profit from short-term price dislocations. Each view is expressed either by owning the shares or by selling short-dated put options at prices where the Manager is prepared to own them.

Strategy
One strategy, two instruments
The Fund follows a small universe of companies continuously and takes a position only when the Manager sees an attractive entry.
Opportunity
Short-term price dislocations in a concentrated group of highly liquid U.S. large-cap technology and platform companies, where the Manager believes market reactions have moved prices away from underlying value.
Implementation
Each view is expressed either by selling a short-dated put at a strike where the Manager is prepared to own the shares, or by buying the shares directly, typically holding them for days to several weeks. If a put is exercised, the Fund acquires the shares at that strike.
Portfolio
Deliberately concentrated in companies the Manager follows continuously. The Fund holds cash when the Manager does not see an attractive entry — cash is a position, not an absence of one.
Risk management
Position sizing, strike selection, the liquidity of the underlying companies and the ability to hold substantial cash between opportunities. Positions are concentrated and are not hedged; selling put options produces frequent small gains and occasional large losses. The Fund’s risks are set out in full in its Private Offering Memorandum.
Infrastructure
Independent service providers
The Fund’s books, valuations and performance are prepared by third parties rather than by the Manager.
